EIDLM video grupal is a Chrome extension that allows users to synchronize YouTube videos with their friends on Twitch. With this extension, users can share YouTube videos while respecting the work of creators. Unlike other apps, websites, or extensions, each user accesses YouTube from their own browser and uses the Twitch chat to control the video playback. The person in control of the chat can pause, play, restart, or start the video from a specific moment, but they cannot change the video itself.
To ensure transparency, the extension only activates when it is enabled on a specific tab. When the extension is active, the tab is marked with a green indicator. The usage is simple - once the extension is installed, the icon will light up when you are on a YouTube or Twitch tab. Clicking the extension icon on a Twitch tab will display a green box on the chat, indicating that the chat will control the YouTube tab.
To enable the extension on YouTube, navigate to the desired YouTube tab, play the chosen video, and click the extension icon. The title of the YouTube tab will turn green, and the first two icons of the extension will also turn green. From this point on, any commands entered by the Twitch chat host will be executed on all YouTube videos of users who have prepared their extensions accordingly.
Commands such as "pausa_video" or "p" (for pause), "reproduce_video" or "r" (for play), "recarga_video" or "l" (for reload) can be used by the Twitch chat host to control the videos. Additionally, the command "recarga_video_44" (or any other number) reloads the page and starts the video at the specified second. It's important to note that the commands should be entered without quotation marks.
